The hypnotist asked everyone in the room to clasp their hands for something called the ‘handlock test’ (I tried to do so but was made to separate them by an overprotective mother). There was a strange and peculiar feeling in the air, as eerie music began to fill the theatre. Many people closed their eyes and began listening intently to what was being said. After a minute or two, the music quietened and the lights brightened slightly. I was shocked to see that some of the people around me had their hands stuck together and couldn’t open them! These people were then invited on-stage to take part in the show.
