Natural remedy for depression and anxiety

Who would have thought that a dose of fish oils (Omega 3 ) could actually help depressed patients? This is just another example of a natural remedy for depression and anxiety which will never get much publicity from the drug companies.  One study actually showed that when depressed patients were given just 1 gram of fish oil a day for an extended period, they showed a 50% improvement in their symptoms. Their depression, loss of libido and suicidal thoughts were all halved. Other dietary changes, like adding Vitamin B to your diet and favoring complex carbohydrates, are great natural ways without having to resort to anti-depressants which tend to leave some patients in a zombie like state.
