My niece plays piano, and not to long ago my oldest daughter got interested in the idea. Being a “good mommy”, I decided to do some investigating on how to go about enrolling her in piano lessons.

I started off with private tutors and realized this was not the way for either of us. I was unable to commit to lessons on a weekly basis and so was she. Ever checked out a ballroom dancing DVD? My daughter is anxious about her upcoming prom date at the end of the year and I thought we could use some dancing instruction in order to dazzle her friends. I love to do crafts with my young students, it helps them learn hand-eye coordination and let’s face it, it’s just plain fun! They get to make wonderful things to take home to their families, and it’s especially fun around the holidays. This month, I did some Craft Card Making with them, and they had a fabulous time creating cards for birthdays and just to say “I Love You”.
