Some time back I wrote an article on how to use your caricaturing skills to make money over and over by doing caricatures that people will pay for over and over. it entailed the skill of finding ways to supply markets who are prepared to keep paying for your drawing, so you are not just working per hour.
You can also take this same approach when signing up a customer to sit for a caricature.
So how do you do this? Well it starts with getting their contact details, email especially so that you can put them onto your mailing list.
Guess what everybody has a birthday each year until the day they die, so you can send them something special on their birthday if you know it and you can find this out by simply asking.
Once someone is on your list then you can invite them buy another product with your initial drawing, have it printed for cards, sell them framing, get it put on cd or a website for relatives to download. There is any number of ways you do this, to make more money from the one drawing.
Just use your imagination and some solid email management auto responders to get the job done, so if you want to draw caricatures that make extra money these are good tips you can follow.
